A very attractive, late 20th century, carved oak, blanket chest, of exceptional quality and condition.

It has a lift up top, with traditional thumb-nail edges and it has attractive oak- wood graining through-out. there are two inset oak panels to the front, all have the ‘old charm’ linen-fold decoration and there is a chop-carved border above and grooved line decoration to the sides and base.

The chest has an inset oak panel to each of the sides and it stands on four sturdy block feet with an additional moulded strip above, for added decoration.

It provides a great place to display and because it fits into any room.

Age related wear which is expected but this all adds to its character.
These excellent pieces are a beautiful example and one not to be missed.

Would look amazing in the right location!
