A lovely Fully working Child`s Victorian High Chair which also converts into a rocker.
Dates to approx 1885.

An iron lever is just underneath the seat on one side – you pull this to release the legs and push down into rocking position & it clicks into place. Same in reverse – pull lever, stand up & click into position.

The tray sits at the front but when they are a little older & you want to push them to the table the tray just flips over the back – so easy.

The legs are fitted with cast iron wheels so it moves around easily.

Lovely colour & completely original. A great little find. Perfectly useable not as delicate as you may think. Just as good to use now as it was then!

Age related wear which is expected but this all adds to its character.
These excellent piece is a beautiful example and one not to be missed
