A charming antique English drop leaf dining table, dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900–1915.

The table has an elegant, lightweight design typical of the Edwardian period, with a beautifully proportioned rectangular top featuring softly rounded corners and a moulded edge.

It stands on four slender turned legs, giving the piece a particularly refined and understated appearance.

Its compact proportions when folded make it particularly suitable for a smaller dining room, kitchen, apartment or period property where space is important.

Dimensions

Height: 74 cm

Width closed: 37 cm

Width fully open: 129 cm

Depth: 91 cm

The table is presented in very good antique condition, remaining solid and functional. The top retains an attractive warm colour and natural character, with age-related marks, variations in tone, small scratches and signs of previous use consistent with an antique piece of this age. These have been retained as part of its genuine patina.
