A beautiful and substantial antique oak gateleg dining table, dating from approximately 1920–1940, featuring a classic Jacobean Revival design.

Crafted from oak, the table has a rich, warm colour with attractive natural grain throughout. The traditional drop-leaf construction allows the table to be transformed from a remarkably compact piece into a generously sized oval dining table.

A particularly practical antique for modern interiors, as it can be used as a full dining table when required and folded away to occupy considerably less space. It would work equally well in a traditional home, cottage, period property or an eclectic contemporary interior.

Dimensions

Height: 76 cm

Width: 37 cm

Depth: 107 cm

Width open: 136 cm

The table is in very good antique condition and remains solid, stable and fully functional.

The top displays visible age-related marks, variations in colour, surface wear and signs of previous use, consistent with its age and adding to its genuine antique character and patina.
