A beautiful antique Victorian balloon back chair, dating from approximately 1860\u20131880.
\nThis elegant 19th century chair features the classic open balloon shaped back, with a beautifully curved solid timber frame displaying a warm, rich patina developed through age and use.
\nThe chair stands on a pair of finely turned front legs, complemented by gently swept rear legs, giving it the graceful proportions characteristic of Victorian seating from this period.
\nThe generously padded seat is upholstered in a rich burgundy velvet, providing a striking contrast against the warm tones of the wooden frame. The combination gives the chair an elegant and sophisticated appearance while retaining its authentic period character.<\/p>\n
