The gently shaped backrest, cabriole-style front legs and softly curved seat rail give the chair a light, graceful appearance typical of the late Victorian period.

The chair is solid and stable, with a well-balanced frame and good proportions.
The seat is upholstered in a warm terracotta fabric, in very good condition and neatly finished with a decorative trim.
The rich walnut tone shows attractive natural grain throughout.
